It's hard not to feel guilty about missing a workout here or there, but really, in the grand scheme of things do you think a couple of missed hours will really harm you? If anything absorb the recovery, it's just a mental game we have to play. I think it's always a good idea to freshen things up with something new. The ole sbr routine can get pretty monotonous. I did the P90X in the off season and had good results for when I actually stuck to it. I still do the core and yoga routine regularly and I think it's the sole reason I have not been injured with running this year.
